Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to assist in the diagnostic evaluation of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as proficiency in aseptic techniques and various imaging modalities.

Shift: Mon-Thur, 9pm-730am
Certifications: ARRT and BLS
Duties
- Perform MRI scans according to established protocols and patient safety standards.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain high-quality images while minimizing discomfort.
- Maintain equipment functionality by conducting routine checks and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations.
- Document patient information, scan results, and any relevant observations in compliance with medical standards.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and best practices in medical imaging.
Experience
- Proven experience as an MRI Technologist or similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to diagnostic imaging.
- Familiarity with CT scanning, sonography, and other medical imaging modalities is a plus.
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations effectively while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members effectively.
